Don't Fail Online - Part II
by: Julian Brinkley

Your best salesperson is?...
- Have you ever: gone online and looked for your business?
- Have you ever: truly looked at your website and seen what it portrays to your customers?
Your website is a representation of your business. It says a lot about what your company is and what they do. Your website in many respects is your best sales person and he is your cheapest sales person. He is out there 24/7 telling all and sundry about your company and inviting people to try out your service. It has become very important for businesses to have a web presence and very few people will deny that today. Therefore is critical that you go online and have a look at one of your company's representatives. You would be taking an inspection if you like.
Take a long hard look at your website and ask...
- Is my website the best it could honestly be?
- Am I happy with the look of my website?
- If I were a customer, would I buy from this site?
If you hesitated for a second on any of those questions...
then you need help, seriously. You see right now as you read this there are people online looking for you. It does not matter whether you are in Raleigh or in New York. There are people out there looking for your service and the way people find things nowadays is to go online and search. If they find you and they ask the same questions and there is that hesitation, they will be gone.
However, if you had a web design team...
that was highly qualified and was able to take your website and turn it into a portal that would instantly capture the attention of a visitor and lead them into reading all about your business. For every minute that person is on your site, it is a minute closer to them using your services.
When we arrive at Situation B, The visitor lands on
your website and is simply confused. He keeps
clicking link after link taking him nowhere near
what he is looking for to settle his mind. He gets
frustrated and likens the going around in circles on
your website to the level of service he will receive
from you.
Eventually he decides enough is enough and he leaves.
The end result is that it is clear that in order to
give the right impressions to your potential
customers that you can help them and provide a
service, it has to start with how accessible and
easy you make interacting with your company online.
Now imagine for a second you found a very qualified
Raleigh Web Design company that also had
graphic design capabilities and they were able to
take your website and overhaul it into something
amazing. Imagine they were able to conduct a
targeted marketing campaign that isolated and
captured a segment of people who are looking for you
and they delivered these leads to your doorstep.
Picture getting 100 leads a month.
If you were to follow up on 100 leads and you were able to convert 5 of those people into customers (customers that would probably refer you to friends and become repeat business). What sort of difference would that make to your business?
Let's qualify that a little bit. Facebook is but one
website on the internet and over 250 million people
use it daily. More and more people rely on the
internet to socialize, research topics and now to
conduct business. That will only grow.
If you have a business in North Carolina...
if you are in Raleigh or Charlotte, you need to
investigate at the very least what a Raleigh Web
Design team can do for your company.
